When working with an Orange County Realtor to secure a rental property you will be required to complete a variety of forms.  The most important forms are the rental application and the credit report. 
 
The completed application and credit report is what will be submitted to the owner(s) of the property of which you are applying for (along with proof of income and assets). 
 
It is important that the rental application is filling out and a credit report is obtained before you set out on the property search.  The information that you provide on the application will be used to help pre-screen potential homes for you.  Additionally, the income and asset amounts will help determine where you qualify with regards to rental rates and deposit amounts.  The credit report is equally instrumental in our service to you.  The credit report will help us determine whether or not you will need a co-signer. 
 
Lastly, most landlords will require a completed application and credit report for each occupant 18 years of age or over. Once we receive your completed application, we will run your credit report for a fee of $15 per applicant, or, you may provide us with a copy of your credit report if you have it.  Please be sure that the credit report you provide us shows the FICO scores.
